Sweta Patidar, M.D.

Biography:

Dr. Sweta Patidar is a well respected internal medicine physician who is known as the doctor’s doctor. Her focus on detail, systematic approach to medical care, and dogged pursuit of improvement has led to many local physicians to entrust their healthcare to her. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Mathematics from Rutgers University and then went to Ross University School of Medicine for her Medical Doctorate degree. She finished her internal medicine residency from the AtlantiCare hospital systems in Atlantic City, NJ. She then moved to Florida and started an internal medicine private practice to provide healthcare in the traditional settings of office, hospital, and nursing home. She prefers the acute care setting and is the hospitalist for the group at the HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital, St. Petersburg Hospital, and Northside Hospital.

Dr. Sweta Patidar never thought she would end up in Florida given her fear of the lizards and spiders, however she is happy to have formed lasting relationships with the local community. She enjoys painting, cooking, eating, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.
